Sometimes, we look at celebrities on magazines and wonder how they manage to look so great. Well, it’s not magic and no, they were not born perfect. They have a busy schedule and things to do, just like you. The trick is to give yourself the time and to have discipline, commitment and perseverance. It’s all about exercising and eating right.
Here, we present you some of the fittest celebrities and their preferences when it’s time to sweat:
Cameron Diaz: One of the most athletic celebrities in the biz, Cameron Diaz loves to surf, paddle-board, go hiking, go for a spin and boot camp style exercises. She is known for mixing up her routine a lot, which helps you work and define different areas of your body.
Ryan Reynolds: With one of the most amazing physiques in the industry, Ryan Reynolds says “I attribute my results mostly to nutrition”. This guy loves a good workout using exercise balls, dumbbells, and his own body. He usually changes his exercise routine every day. He also likes kickboxing, running, yoga and pilates.
Gwyneth Paltrow: When this girl isn’t jogging around the city, she devotes herself to cardio dance sessions and a workout routine which includes resistance-band work, squatting, lifting light weights (3 lbs), and lots of leg exercises. She has also said that she loves food and doesn’t believe in diets, instead, she loves to buy fresh, organic food and cook it at home.
Kellan Lutz: This Twilight star likes to spend time both at the gym and outdoors. He likes to go hiking, play basketball and go swimming. When he doesn’t have time to go to the gym, he is seen jogging a lot around town and using the local playground to do some push-ups, crunches and hit the monkey bars, too.
Reese Witherspoon: A yoga lover, Reese goes to yoga classes every day to keep her strong and balanced. She also gets her cardio by jogging every day and she likes to keep her workouts fun, so she usually brings a friend with her, a great way to get more motivated. She eats small portions of nourishing food all throughout the day, and likes to eat fresh food all the time.
It doesn’t look too different from the stuff you’re doing, right? It’s a matter of really getting yourself out there and get moving. Watch what you eat and choose wisely. Like my dear friend Isabelle Gagnon once said to me: “what you see in them, it’s in you”. You have to believe it and get to work!
