The ModuVated 5K Run/walk is an annual event, created to celebrate health and wellness in the Los Cabos area. With the help of sponsors and members of the community, it is our goal to help different causes every year. It takes place in the Ciclovía Recreativa in Cabo San Lucas, a space dedicated to promote fitness and a healthy lifestyle, and for families to get together and enjoy some time outdoors.

The first Annual ModuVated 5K Run/Walk was held in 2010 and it gathered more than 600 participants in total. Over 300 children from public schools from the less fortunate areas of Los Cabos were sponsored to be part of the race. The event raised more than 65,000 pesos to benefit The Ray Thomas Foundation.

In 2011, the 2nd Annual Moduvated 5K Run/Walk 2011 was a huge success. On Sunday, December 11th, the event was held with the participation of more than 1000 people, including participants, volunteers and sponsors. We surpassed our goal by raising more than 235,000 pesos, tripling the amount that we raised last year!

All proceeds were donated to the Los Cabos Children’s Foundation. Money was also donated to Casa Hogar and The Ray Thomas Foundation.

With your support, we want to continue to inspire people to lead a healthier lifestyle by giving a hand to others at the same time. With the help of donations, we are looking forward to exceed our goal of the previous year every time, to be able to help more people.

Through wellness leadership, the ModuVated team believes that events of this kind create new levels of awareness within the community.
